I want to pursue a master's degree in business to explore new areas of expertise and expand my business network. I will improve my marketability and thus have greater chances of transitioning to different career paths. The program will allow me to personalize my schedule to gain expertise and a comprehensive understanding of my desired areas of specialization. I also want to build my social capital because the master's degree in business will allow me to interact with multiple business students and stakeholders from diverse industries and backgrounds. Sitting in the classroom with individuals from more areas and hearing their novel approaches and experiences concerning business problems will be refreshing.
My short-term goals entail improving my competencies to support stability in my role in the corporate world, building communication skills, and strong corporate connections. I will achieve stability in the corporate world by dazzling human resource managers with my commitment to continuous improvement. In this respect, I will continue working while pursuing my master's degree in business part-time.
