Finding the best and most convenient university to study in is the first step towards achieving one’s life objectives. The University of Washington has always been my dream institution of higher learning that would conveniently and effectively shape my future by ensuring I achieve my goals. However, one should demonstrate leadership capabilities and showcase their achievements and accomplishments. I will outline and discuss my leadership responsibilities, abilities, achievements, and accomplishments that make me fit to study at the University of Washington. I have held leadership positions in community organizations, trained women for GGC and worked part-time as a journalist.
My journey to becoming a nurse was motivated by my status being a single mother. I have a daughter, and I always have to balance caring for her, going to school and working. I started living in a shelter with her when she was only seven months old. The parental responsibility meant I had to ensure my daughter got parental love and basic needs. I work part-time as a journalist to earn a living and cater for these needs for the two of us. I also went to school and still found time to spend with her, besides planning and involving community activities.
Serving the community and being a single mother propelled me to study nursing, which I accomplished, and I became a licensed registered nurse. With the license, I served the community more authoritatively on issues about health and the general public in the healthcare sector, saving many lives....
