Becoming a nurse has always been my dream since I was young. As well all know, joining a nursing school is a big responsibility and requires a lot of commitment. However, it can be managed and achieved if one is genuinely interested in becoming a nurse. The nursing program is different from other programs because one must learn many things within a short period. Due to this, it takes a person who is willing to make sacrifices and commit to succeed and have a successful career. Over the past few years, many people have enrolled in nursing programs, but only a few have the determination and grit to complete them successfully. Therefore, I believe I have what it takes to be successful in this program since it has always been my dream.
The nursing program has several demands. One of these demands is high work pressure accompanied by tight schedules. I understand that in my nursing career, I will spend more time caring for patients and working with their families. To some point, this might seem difficult because I will not have time for myself. In such cases, I will need to exercise time management skills. I will need to balance the time I spend with patients and the time I spend with family and friends.
