Admission Essay Instructions:

I made an outline. Please don't use the same sentence as me. Write it as vividly as possible, and it is presented similarly to a micro-movie narrative. The important thing is not to write so much great philosophy of life.
In the first paragraph: I looked at the teacher, and my heart was beating very fast. I knew he would call my name soon, and then I would go up to shake hands with him and keep the cutest smile. Then my background music must be the music of the Grammy Awards. I love this Moment.
Paragraph 2: Why am I sure the teacher will teach me my name? He often complimented me, gave me history books as gifts, and complained about the results of my games. I am the most positive person in his class, I speak every time, and the score is always good. I even believe that he will have my name in his teaching career.
Paragraph 3: where is the story going? Yes, I saw that it was not me who came to the podium.
Paragraph 4: I thought I would be incredibly dissatisfied, annoyed, evil, darkened, surprised, and puzzled. But I do not have.
Fifth paragraph: I think if I were still the one in the arms of my Chinese mother, I would probably be like this. But I am still very grateful for the teaching and encouragement of the teacher in the classroom. Maybe I have continued to persevere after many losses in the competition. Perhaps I have become brave enough to speak for minority and LGBTQ groups. I began thinking about the frustrating traffic congestion and inequitable educational resources. That's true. I often hope the winner is me, but I still give myself a little red flower even if I don't stand on the podium.
Paragraph 6: Another experience in the competition, I am doing my best again. I know there may be many more of these experiences in the future. College applications, jobs, promotions, relationships, pandemics, and quarantine life are accompanied by uncertainty. But I learned from the teacher his passion for the classroom and love for life and students. After the awards ceremony, my teacher and I had a deep hug.

It is Not Me on the Podium The hall was filled to the brim. Students and their teachers, parents, guardians, and relatives sat in endless rows facing a raised and decorated podium full of guests of honor flanked by members of the school board, the PTA, and senior teachers. It was the annual awards ceremony in which top students in various activities, be it academics or co-curricular activities, were recognized and rewarded for their efforts. While many students revered the presents, such as books, calculators, or boots (if it was sports), teachers and parents adored the recognition more. The teacher read the list of top students, who then traded handshakes with medals among the standing guests of honor. As the teacher approached the Essay Writing Category, my heart paced in a mixture of waning scopophobia and the prospect of making myself and my parents proud before school. I could picture myself climbing up the podium; my legs trembling, my heart beating in excitement, and a victorious yet shy smile on my face. I pictured myself not walking but gliding across the podium, my hand out, ready for a handshake and a reward for my impressive essay. In the background, I could hear Bo's All Eyes on Me blasting on top of the happy, cheering faces. I was sure the teacher would call my name because he had given that impression, even commenting that my essay was specific and thought-provoking. "How you captured the LGBTQ as a minority group then dissected the minorities within it, and their predicaments made me rethink the whole idea of justice and equality," he had said. Further, to my elation, the teacher often complimented my interests and efforts by giving me history books and gifts. He often complained about my slackness in football, where he thought I had talent. He always said that while I may never turn out to be like Messi, the enjoyment of playing and being part of a team was equally as crucial for my development as a person. I had maintained consistent A's in my classwork, and participation in class and group activities had increased tremendously. Delighted by these developments, the teacher encouraged me to continue writing an essay and not to limit my thought process. To further cement my case for winning that year's essay award, I had come second in the previous year, which meant many expected me to win this year.
