Tell us about the areas of study you are excited to explore, and specifically why you wish to pursue them in our College.
Talk about how I promote science studies and technology for volunteer students. Ask me any questions if you need but i began a volunteer organization when i was very young in order to help children in regions of northern china. i took machines such as microscopes and computers to the children in the north in order to encourage sciences. you may make up stuff along the way such as little stories and problems but please include how i helped them grow as a community and how I feel that this school (cornell) can help me do the same thing by introducing more top of the line equipment for my research.

My constant desire to pursue a career in sciences has been at the forefront since my early childhood. I have always been interested in courses that are uncommon to others. People fear studying science-related subjects more often since they are perceived to be difficult. My passion for a science-related course is best depicted by some of the things I did during my volunteer programs. During my high school days, I constantly participated in our school's programs that encouraged the study of STEM courses. We undertook a charity program that started with a fundraising campaign to purchase microscopes and computers. We later took the microscopes and computers to an interior village in northern parts of China where the children there had never seen computers before. Seeing the joy of the children and their inquisitive nature, which was demonstrated by the questions they asked about computers, made me realize there is a great need to continue doing such activities to bring more awareness to such children on science. With proper guidance and mentorship, more and more people would consider science-related courses. Suppose I am successfully admitted to Cornell college. In that case, I will ensure I continue a similar program at the college where we bring in more awareness on science-related courses. In doing so, the college will benefit from the increased enrollment in the upcoming years.
