But I was a lead at the back group, I supported them, and finally we finished this cycling activity at Taiwan

I have had experiences where I have used my leadership skills positively to influence others and contributed to group efforts over time. One event that revealed my leadership experience was when I was part of a cycling group in Taiwan. It was a group of 300 students cycling together with a total of 922 kilometers within 12 days. Overall, Taiwan is very hilly and so it was difficult cycling in some of the upslope sections. Some students were not in shape and they lagged behind. I was a leader of the group that was lagging behind, and I used my leadership skills to help them push on. I guided them on how to cycle in the hilly sections using a spiral motion and then used encouraging words that pointed out that they had the potential to do it (McIntosh).
