Ethical practice in diverse situations, professions, and jurisdictions often addresses rights, what constitutes rights violations, equality, and non-discrimination.The ethical justification for the recognition of human rights is the need to protect all human beings (Widdows 32). The Universal Declaration of Human Rights paved the way for the recognition of global human rights, but still, there are differences in what countries accept and adopt as part of human rights.
Research plan
The research first begins with an introduction on rights at the national and global levels and the significance of protecting rights. The research topic has a global scope even as there are differences in the way countries adopt laws to protect rights that are recognized nationally and internationally. The literature review and background section discusses the relevant literature on rights that ought to be defined by nations or/ and defined globally. The literature further highlights human rights protection. After the literature review, there is an analysis section on rights and ethical considerations. The conclusion section sums up the findings and perspectives on rights defined at the national or the global level. The research contributes towards understanding the issue of rights, ethics within the global scope, and the protection of rights.
