In conjunction with this, there is a need to implement similar oaths for business leaders. In his article, Sean Jasso from the school of business and management views the new phenomenon of the Hippocratic oath as an alternative for the newly MBAs graduates. Oath taking in management course happen to be addressed in the same way new medical doctors and lawyers take oath before commencing their work. In response to this issue, Michael Skapinker perceives taking of the oath by business students as a way of keeping a promise to an equal attendance of the stakeholders including co-workers, shareholders, customers and the community.             The MBA has received momentum through scholarship and inspiration of professors. Nitin Nohria and Rakesh Khurana, who argues that the field of business needs to be treated like a profession like law and medicine. They believe that one of the defining characteristics of any true professionalism is adherence to a code of conduct. Though professors from the business school believe that having such oath is essential, in his article, Jasso argues that the most significant virtue is the legitimacy of the managers whether effective or not.
