Maternal and child health have been a critical concern in the health care sector of most countries. In the United States (US), stern measures have been placed in the healthcare sector to protect and promote the wellbeing of mothers and their children. The sector has ensured that there is a good child immunization program that looks into the wellbeing of children from birth to their teenage years. The study aims to explore the maternal and child health system in the country. Effective maternal and child health care practices are primary to the development of healthy and sound adults.
