Grade K-10 students will continue to access the RtI assessments accompanied with continuous assessment. Secondly, the teacher will identify the gaps in learning and improvise methods of merging the gaps in learning. Learning gaps can be described as the difference between what the student has acquired in learning concerning what they are expected to earn. For example, if a student is required to learn all the methods of solving algebra in grade 7 and does not achieve that, it can be called learning gaps.
Rationale
Develop effective methods of identifying learning gaps in grade K-10. Several methods can help identify learning gaps amongst students. Firstly, identify the number of students that require additional help in solving different mathematical problems in class. Typically, students have different degrees of understanding concepts; however, if the number is large (for the students who need help), there is a learning gap. Secondly, evaluate and determine learning standards that were not covered in the previous lesson or year. Learning is a process, and every grade sets a platform for the next grade; therefore, if a student fails to complete learning standards in a particular grade, they will not be ripe for the next grade. Thirdly, identify professional development required to support learners before they proceed to the next grade or topic. There will be continuous exam assessments to gauge students.

Mathematics is an extensive discipline, and it requires integrating different materials to ensure students capture concepts. Some materials used include scholarly materials, PHET (physics, engineering, and technology).
