In my study, I looked into how the health administrators’ responsibilities are likely to shape up in future with the relation of thee information technology. The government has spent billions on the electronic health records. The main purpose of the revolution is to assist the health care administrators discharge their duties and responsibilities effectively and efficiently. In the near future the administrators will be required to keep the records of their patients in electronic form, this way it will be easier for other medical practitioners within the health facility or without to have access while treating the same patient. Some of the advantages that will be associated with the digital migration include; reduced errors in prescription, digitized test procedures, which yield results that are more accurate and tracking all the health history of the patients from multiple locations (HIMSS, 2013). With the easy access to the information, the administrators are better informed, when they recruit and manage the patients.
