Healthcare can achieve universal health coverage by ensuring effective global policies. Global policies ensure uniformity in healthcare delivery (Torres-Alzate, 2019). In this case, WHO aims to ensure this uniformity. However, based on the study outcomes, this paper shall reflect on global policy reform and its impact on patient care.
How to make Informed Decisions 
Evidence-based decision-making is vital in healthcare to make an informed decision. When healthcare adopts evidence-based practice, it uses the most effective evidence in combination with the health expert’s experience in the field of practice (Berwick et al., 2018). In addition, this type of decision-making allows the health professional to integrate their expertise with the patient’s preferences and values in making crucial decisions. The evidence-based practice process ensures that the treatment is comprehensive and accurate. Therefore, evidence-based decision-making ensures effective and quality care for patient outcomes.
System thinking is a process for identifying problems in a complex system through different approaches that lead to specific results. In this case, healthcare can minimize errors and inefficiencies during patient treatment (Berwick et al., 2018). One of the major benefits of system thinking is that it ensures enhanced patient-centered care. Besides, this process also encourages questioning and embraces a problem-solving atmosphere. Therefore, system thinking is crucial in making an informed decision on patient outcomes and nursing practice globally.
Aligned culture, policies, incentives, and leadership enables the healthcare organization to make an informed decision. Notably, the established policies set a solid foundation for organizational integrity (Berwick et al., 2018). In this instance, the organization follows the set policies to ensure quality healthcare services. Besides, coordinated leadership and incentives ensure efficient management of healthcare resources to attain maximal healthcare quality and patient outcomes.
