Quantitative study design uses different methods that can be used to validate their findings. They include; quasi-experimental, non-experimental, and experimental. They have commonly used methods in the research study. An experimental research design is, for example, the effects of a new drug or medicine intended to treat a specific disorder tested in a different situation. If the drug was for the patient's treatment with anxiety, then a sample of the drugs will be randomly divided into groups (Bas-Sarmiento et al., 2017). The first group will get a high dosage, and the second group will get a moderate dosage, while the last will get a flow diagram.
On the other hand, quasi-experimental, for example, decides to test the new therapy used that can be used in the patients. In contrast, others prefer to use older therapeutic methods (Pålsson et al., 2017). The researcher can decide to use the pre-existing groups to study the progression of the symptoms in the patient treated with a new therapeutic method versus those who receive the standard treatment.
