Every religion has a cosmology/cosmogony to explain its view of the universe and the place of humans in it. Explain the cosmology/cosmogony for this week’s religion. Explain how it is manifested in the subsequent worldview that develops for that religion.

Jews believe that God created the universe in six days and he rested on the seventh day. The universe and everything in it is created by God.

In what way does this religion have a God or gods? How does this worship of deity/deities reflect the cosmology of the religion? If the religion has no God/gods, in what way does this absence reflect their cosmology?

Judaism is a monotheistic religion. Jews believe that God has no properties and he is everywhere. they also believe he has no children, no helpers, no rivals and no competition. Jews believe they are descendants of Gods creation through Adam and Eve. Jews rest on sabbath (Friday evening to Saturday evening) just like the way God rested when he created the universe.
