Introduction
James Dyson and Steve Jobs’ level of creativity, inventions, and innovativeness remains to be among the most outstanding to date. Looking keenly into their vast achievements, they appear as persistent entrepreneurs who have gone through severe struggles to make their dreams come to reality. This paper looks into how Apple Inc. and Dyson Company Limited have deployed innovation to evaluate, understand, and meet the needs of customers and develop new products/services, to benefit by building new equity brands.
Creativity and Innovation on Apple Inc.
There would be no mention of innovation if creativity would not at first get into consideration. There are a lot of human needs that call for satisfaction day in day out. Apple Company has gone miles to ensure that most of these needs get fulfilled by making use of its ideas and visions. It is a fascinating thing to see how Apple can beat its competitors in terms of its innovation.
According to Frederiksen & Brem (2017), it has got easier by ensuring that better leadership is in place and having a desire to make the world an enjoyable place to live in through technology. The research done on this Company shows clearly that the only competitors who seem to bring stiff competition perhaps in the future are Google and Microsoft, but this does not worry Apple because Apple believes that their creativity is always fresh and superb.
According to Arocha (2017), Apple has an idea that creativity commences through prompts and innovation occurs at the point of the solution. Lack of issues means no answers, and to them, more issues mean better solutions. Its creativity nature tries to come up with many questions that address customers' needs, and its innovations give desirable answers to meet the consumer needs.
Looking at the Macintosh products designed and developed by Apple, there is evidence of lots of success. The professionals involved in its innovation are known to be among the most renowned computer scientists around the world. The team entails people who are career musicians and poets, artists, zoologists, and historians.
The Apple Company also understands a way of getting in touch with its customers, and this is by ensuring great products get brought on board, and this makes the customers dig deeper into their pockets all to ensure the desired need gets met. Apple has also understood that a product will only be suitable to its users if it is neat, intuitive, and straightforward. People prefer simple products to complicated ones since the more honest the product, the better the performance.
According to Bogers, Chesbrough & Moedas, (2018), next-generation innovation (Innovation 2.0) of Apple uses a lot of creativity building on its vision to make products such as the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro.
