Code is usually a system of rules that have been designed to help in the conversion of information, which is mainly in different forms such as images, figures, sounds, words, or any other structure in a different form, which can be understood. In most cases, the codes are either made secret or made known (Mod U). Sometimes they are shortened to ensure the process of communication occurs through a selected medium of communication.
When we have so much data, it is always essential that we simplify it so that it is easily understandable. One such way is through encoding it by coming up with different codes from the data. Coming up with different codes involves identifying various aspects of the data. We must look at certain unique features of the data such as frequencies, sequence, chain of events, among other unique elements of the data (Mod U). These patterns should form part of our codes.
