Why Does God Allow Suffering?
The book of John 3:16 is controversial in Christian teachings on suffering. The Bible verse describes God’s love for the world and promises eternity upon belief in God. However, the textual idea contradicts the experiences of Christians in life. The bible justifies the concept of consequences and emphasizes that there are repercussions for our sins. However, according to biblical studies, God is portrayed as and to act with good intentions.

According to James 1:2-4, the bible describes the sufferings as perseverance needed in a Christian’s faith growth. Furthermore, in 1st Peter chapter 2:19-21, the bible suggests that suffering is commendable before God when we do good since it reflects the sacrifice that Jesus made to die for our sins. However, hell's biblical concept has two categories: punishment for doing wrong and suffering for doing good. Moreover, John 16:33 reassures us of trouble and pain in the world but highlights the existence of hope through the power of God. 1st Peter 5:10 also suggests that there is a relief after a period of suffering.
