Racialized priming and framing have significant policy implications. Racialized priming and framing have over time proved pivotal in pushing for policy changes. If the analysis in news media primes the audience to think about certain frames over others, the preferred frames end up influencing the policy priorities by the public and pushing the political actors into action. This has been observed on several occasions, especially in healthcare policies.
