ORGANIZATION’S TOXIC CULTURE
This is a term used to describe a culture that has been corrupted due lack of application of proper ethics in any organization. A toxic culture is usually demoralized and lacks strong grounds, leading to deprivation of the organization’s development due to failure of embracing ethical culture. There is a personal working experience in such an organization where the culture was toxic, but the situation was altered by the ethical behavior of the employees.
The organization initially had bad reputation across the region due to production of less quality products and involvement of shady deals. This supposedly had happened in sequence of several years under a former management. In addition, the organization’s production was very low because of lack of adequate supervisors as well as diligent employees. This had led drastic deceleration of both payments of all employees. This kind of culture for the organization only made the situation worse as years progressed and just before the organization would be considered bankrupt, the owners changed the management.
