The factory should automate the production system and the administration operations. By automating the production process it entails mixing of ingredients required for the different flavors, quality control and packaging. While on administration is automation of record keeping tracking of production from raw materials, packaging containers, distribution and sales.
How is the technology seen by your customers? If so, in what ways would it make a difference?
Use of technology in a Juicy Factory guarantees quality and consistency which is the key components which consumers are keen on a brand. By automating the production processes quality will be consistent while packaging and presentation will be much appealing. The automation of administration will ensure that consumers gets their supplies in time and while it is still fresh.
How are your competitors handling this same situation?
Automation is an expensive exercise and requires a lot of planning before its execution. Most of the competitors are doing much better in automation of the production section but are not been keen on the administration part. These is very essential and that is what I do intend to capitalize on and be much more competitive than them.
