The company culture relates to the attitudes, norms and shared beliefs in a company unique to that organization. Since the organizational culture embraces change over time, it directly influences the strategic planning of an organization and successful organizations embrace changes in the working environment. Thus, strategic plans are created in view of changes in the environment where organizations exist. Analysis of strengths and weakness in organizations should ideally be done by incorporating an organization’s culture, and completion of such an analysis then enables organizations to set goals and objectives (Nelson, 2008). The company culture may facilitate or hinder achievement of goals and objectives, highlighting relevance of culture in strategic plans.
