Learning organization according to Raymond Noe’s book is a company’s culture that ensures employees are always learning continuously even after formal training. Learning plays a great part in ensuring that each employee stays updated with the emerging changes in the workplace environment. Most importantly, this creates uniformity in terms of operations and the general activities in the organization. All in all, it is agreeable that the main objective of the training is to see to it that the said employees become dynamic and in case of drastic changes in the business environment, such employees are seen as the lifeline of the company (Noe, 2010). This is because they can adjust with the environment hence ensuring a company survives these changes. In companies, learning organizations can be achieved if managers are always on the look out to identify training needs of the employees while the employees should ensure they encourage one another when it comes to sharing information amongst them.
When it comes to creating a learning organization, the most important discipline to consider is the trainee. This is because, the intention of the organization is to have the employee learn, and thus, they should take the responsibility of learning and transferring the said information.
