In modern enterprises, warehousing plays an integral role to ensure efficiency in customer service and overall service delivery by ensuring logistics performance. Warehousing is very important in minimizing the effect of inefficiencies in the supply chain and facilitates accurate inventory management. For the enterprise, effective warehouse and storing resources and products effectively facilitates product accumulation, consolidation and customization of services (Poist, 2001). This paper evaluates whether a particular identified organization warehouses/stores its resources and products effectively. The organization in question is a chain of pharmaceutical stores that manufactures and supplies drugs to different outlets.
