Social Media in Your Career Development Process

There were many ways that I utilized situational awareness during my presentation. I chose my words well and tried to be funny so that people can feel that I am approchable. I also had to learn about my audience's background so that I could customize my presentation into something they will be interested in. This way, they will realize that though I am easy to talk to, I am also a professional and that their concerns are my top priority.
By observing others present, I realized that it is not easy to be self-aware when one is in front of many people. It is easy to get lost in the situation. However, I also realized that it is very important, for our careers because it can make or break our business. Through self-awareness, combined with the capacity to synthesize knowledge and professional capabilities, one can control everything that happens during the presentation proper and, thereby give the audience the feeling that one is competent.
