I have always believed that everyone is destined for greatness in one way or another, if they follow the right path. The right path in this case means remaining focused to their goals and desires. The story of my life has been quite interesting, with the usual ups and downs that any average person experiences while growing up. I had quite a great childhood, even though it also had its own fair share of tumultuous episodes. I however like tracing my real growth from the time I was in 5th grade, when my grandmother adopted me. She took good care of me and really made me learn a lot about self-discipline and dedication. I often feel like she is the one who inculcated in me the most important life skills that I still use today. These are loyalty, commitment, excellence and aspiration for continuous improvement. I also learnt diplomacy through peaceful negotiation, as she was always gentle yet strict.
I was lucky to grow up in my grandmother's house because she gave me everything I ever wanted as a kid. As I grew up, she inspired and supported me because she believed in me. She could always tell me how I would grow up to be an essential person and achieve my dream. It was certainly from growing up at my grandmother’s place that I realized I had a passion for the wellbeing of people. I was always fond of nurses and their outfits, but most importantly was in their ability to make patients recover from their ailments.
