Examination then revealed greater mobility than normal as the leg was moved in an anterior direction, relative to the thigh, when the knee was flexed at a 90-degree angle. Greater than normal mobility was also observed when the knee was moved medially, relative to the thigh and ankle. Describe the likely injury to Stanley's knee in as much detail as possible.
