Therefore, I am writing this memo to you to create a platform for a road map that can set effective regulation of the usage, promotion, and selling of cannabis in our state. Additionally, the memo provides strategic ways that can be employed to ensure that the states get the penitential benefits of cannabis tourism happening within the country. Establishing strong policy areas from more established policies from local, state, and national quotas will inform our states on the best way to go with cannabis legalization for its tourism and recreational functions. Despite the medical and tourism benefits associated with cannabis, the policies that can govern how cannabis can be advertised are acts, statutes, and regulations that restrict the advertisement of cannabis openly to the whole public (Caulkins, 2018).
