Creating a matrix chart is an essential tool for monitoring, organizing, and tracking. I develop matrix charts within the hospital where I work as an administrator. It helps meet the hospital's initiatives, such as laws, policies, and culture, to maintain safety. One way to achieve compliance is by developing matrix charts for our different departments within the hospital. Our facility has a matrix generated to deal with insurance covers for certain medicines our hospital applies for surgical operations. The hospital also utilizes the matrix chart and graphs to separate the rules and guidelines by each department because employees have diverse roles. It acts as a cheat sheet for the hospital since the employees do not have to locate it in a folder via their shared folders. Participating in this class was an added advantage in understanding how to navigate problems more effectively.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process plays a crucial role within an organization as it helps to identify the root of issues to discover the most effective solutions.
