Organizational Behavior and Culture Student’s Name Institutional Affiliation Introduction Organizational behavior refers to the dynamics existing between individuals and organization, which mainly help in determining to establish existing behavior and practices taking place within the organization and working places and the factors influencing those behaviors. Organization behavior is a tool used by the managers to develop a work environment that results in positive outcomes for the benefit of the organization and the entire stakeholder. The approach used in the behavior organization enables the managers to predict behavior within the organization with reference to certain factors to enable them effectively manage the employees toward the projected organizational results. This helps them to enable the organization to achieve its goals and objectives. Different organizations have different organizational behavior due to the difference in organizational culture. For instance, organizational culture is defined in the form of individual personalities as they are considered to be unique. Organizational culture can, therefore, be considered as an invisible but strong force influencing behaviors of the organizational members (Bratton, 2015). The core values of the organizational culture are based on shared values, beliefs, and assumption. The Hawthorne studies played a significant role in understanding organizational behavior. For instance, the study elaborates on organizational justice, trust, and identification studies which present a direct impact of involvement and attention of the workers as received from leaders within the organization. The study has, therefore transformed the view of the organizational behavior, while addressing how the physical environment influences the work environment for employees (Bratton, 2015). Hawthorne studies greatly contributed to the improvement of the impacts of human factors on organizational situations. This has enabled improvement and shaping of organizational psychology and sociology while establishing a conducive working environment and provides insightful management with effective human relation. The study enabled the establishment of the personal relationship among workers, which influences an individual’s output. According to Hawthorne, direct involvement of employees in making decisions in an organization helps in the improvement of their outputs and productivity (Bratton, 2015). The study, therefore, concluded that work is properly done with proper recognition of the workers, provided with job security, and availability of personal security within the organization. Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) research has presented its impactful influence on organizational culture and performance (Wang, Fu, Qiu, Moore, & Wang, 2017).
