Which is Safer, Tap or Bottled Water?

Craving for water is something that most people pay little attention to the nutritional and neurobiological aspects. Some of the basic water functions in the human body include; transport and a chemical medium, temperature regulator, cleaning the bowel, and containing some useful minerals ("Nutrients Important to Fluid and Electrolyte Balance," 2012). Tap water is readily available in most places where rigorous activities occur, and homesteads are my major source of water to drink. Unlike bottled water, tap water is available at convenience and near-zero costs, making it the most appropriate source of my drinking water. Besides, who would want to spend some cash in this economy on the most abundant commodity on earth? A lot of speculations have been made about tap water, but the fact is, tap water is far much safer compared to bottled water.
