Human development and learning theories aim to explain the process of development and the factors that affect the way humans think as they grow. These theories put into context the physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and educational growth critical for proper development.
Erikson’s psychosocial developmental theory discusses the different stages of human growth depicted in eight distinct stages. His focus was on the role of social interactions and the various conflicts that arise during growth.
