Rene Descartes Argument that he cannot differentiate whether he is sleeping or waking lead to the development of the doubts he had in life. He asserts that maybe the life he is living might be a dream after all. All that he cannot doubt are his senses. To him, the sense of perception helps in creating things that might not be in existence. The application of his dream argument to real life experiences might not function ideally.
