Rosencrantz and Guildenstern have no idea of the major reason of Hamlets madness. When they are asked by Claudius they assert that they have no idea of Hamlets actions. According to the forthcoming play hamlet is very excited, and Claudius and Polonius decide to spy on Hamlet by meeting him In Ophelia and they avoid the presence of Gertrude to have their mission accomplished. According to the meeting between the Queen and Ophelia, the queen expresses her wish that they should consider getting back their relationship for the reason of Hamlet life. Polonius tells Ophelia to make believe that she is reading as she waits for Hamlet to arrive. Then hamlets arrive speaking considerate to himself, whether to commit suicide or not to commit suicide (Clinton etal ,2009).
The question he asks is “to be or not to be”. He asserts that life is full of misery that no one is able to bear them expect that they are scared of “something after death”.Later his attention is focused to Ophelia, and he assumes that her actions of reading the book means that she is praying for him. Ophelia responds and says that she is ready to return the gift of love to her. Ophelia is then hurt by Hamlets response since it is only the way of expressing her love. Hamlet is very furious about Ophelia words and he denies that she has never loved him and tells her that she is dishonest. Hamlet tells Ophelia that all men are disloyal and that she should go to a nunnery (Clinton etal ,2009).
Hamlet recognizes that he is being spied upon and asks Ophelia about his father痴 whereabouts and then she replies that she is at home. Again, Hamlet starts cursing Ophelia and tells her to go to a nunnery and comments that women are two faced and untrustworthy and are justified to be cast aside and then Hamlet leaves.
