Last Holiday movie reflection

I recently watched the movie "Last Holiday" that starred Queen Latiifah, where she knew that she was going to die, so she goes ahead spending her money on the entire thing she had always wanted to do before her death. Beyond that I have also watched "The Bucket List", which is another movie about two men who made a list of all they wanted to do before they die. Both movies were great, they provide a good reflection about knowing ones death, and I found it inspirational in a way.
However, there is another story of a man who was told by his doctor that he was going to die, and so he went ahead and spent all his money , when he had squandered everything, the doctor realized the diagnosis was wrong and so he told the man that he was not going to die after all … poor guy.
I always live my life and my days like I will not see tomorrow. So I give my very best to the day that I have. Nonetheless, I would like to know the day I will die! I know nobody treasures death, but knowing would make me be at peace with the situation. Once I am sure, and confirmed it, of cause I would not want to find myself in the same predicament as our poor fellow, I would go ahead and make a list of all the things I would want to do.
