The blue light that is seen has a 475 wavelength. This is because the blue wavelength is shorter in the visible spectrum and more efficiently scattered by the atmospheric molecules. Blue light carries more energy in the electromagnetic spectrum as seen from the right to the left from the greatest wavelength and the lowest frequency through the gamma rays with very small wavelengths and big frequencies. Red color is more preferred for warning light and traffic signals (Paul, 2006).
