Typical roles of mothers in the family
In a normal family set up the roles played by mothers have been greatly underestimated especially considering the fact that many men still dwell in the privileges and the legacy of the male dominated cultural practices and norms. As compared to the roles played by the fathers the mothers play a varied and numerous roles as it pertains to the unparallel obligations as well as in the challenges involved in the raising of decent children. Research has shown that married women especially those with young children work more hours ranging from fourteen to sixteen hours peer days as opposed to married men who only work from four to six hours per day. A typical mother in a developed world plays significant roles as it pertains to nurturing, family growth as well as guidance.
