Hello. I am a high school student in grade 12 that has an essay due. It is from the short story The Painted Door by Sinclair Ross. I am not sure what paper style APA stands for, but I need a high school essay.

The revolved around the relationship of the married couple John and Ann, who, in no doubt, love each other but were eminently different from one another. We have John, the simple yet strong, and loyal husband to Ann who was beautiful and vigorous. However, these differences had played factors to the events that took place. Their personal views on sacrifice in the name of love ultimately built a wall in their relationship that kept them from overcoming challenges together. This compelling short story had delved into the disparate courses of action induced by loyalty and infidelity, and lack of proper communication.
Life together in the farm posed problems for the couple, more particularly, for Ann. John, who loved his wife a lot, showed his loyalty towards her by being wholly committed to giving her a good life. This meant providing her with the things he thought Ann needed—a bigger house, beautiful clothes, and the like. He was hardworking, practical, and was dedicated to giving his wife a good life. However, he had to work to pay off the mortgage bills of the farm before he can actually provide his wife any of those things. He believed every day that he worked hard, he was a step closer to the life he dreamed for them. Ann, on the other hand, felt isolated and lonely in the farm. She knew that the life they were dreaming of would take years because of the mortgage. The cold and bleak winter weather added even more to the crushing desolation. She felt that their days were repetitive and lacked any excitement. Ann felt that for each day that passed by was a day closer to death.
The story commenced when a nasty storm was about to hit the prairie. John needed to check up on his aging father, who was about five miles away from where they were living. The distance showed how isolated the couple were on the farm. John’s act of visiting his father shows how he was willing to make sacrifices for people he loved. John saw Ann as a traditional wife who should support him in all he does. After all, he works hard in the farm for Ann. He worked hard to give Ann the life John...
