This is one of Obama’s concession speeches before he became the president of the United States of America. It was on8th of January the year 2008 in Nashua, NewHampshire, where the president addressed the crowd on his ‘Yes We Can’ campaign tour to the region. It was a time when he was campaigning for party presidential nominations in the Democratic Party. At the time the opponent was Hillary Clinton, who later defeated him in that primary at New Hampshire.
Listening to the speech one can clearly tell that the message is clear and to the point. The speaker starts off with by thanking the political opponent and goes on to thank the electorate. The purpose of this speech at the event was thanking the electorate for showing their support to his candidature and their support for change.
