I want a three paragragh essay anwering the questions directly.
1.why you selected pharmacy as a career
This is what i wrote down.To give you an idea of what i want on the paper. (i imigrated to the US 3 yrs ago from Cameroon and 3yrs later i will be having and assoc. degree in Chemistry)
"About 10 years ago at a lower educational level of my life, i was exposed to all subjects both arts and sciences. i always had better grades in my science subjects.
This originally ignited my love for sciences. As years passed by i majored in sciences and in high school i took chemistry, biology, Maths and Further maths as my class courses.
My 3 years of higher education taking pre-pharmacy courses has been challenging but hasn't reduced my interesr for a pharmaceutical profession.
My interest in the pharmaceutical profession is rooted in my desire for medical research. (i have a skin issue, i have been told it's dry skin but the solutions giving by my doctors don't help.
during the cold season of the year, my body itches when i get in contact with water or if it't just too could for me...So basically i am thinking research in a pharmaceutical rofession should
help me figure out somekind of solution to my problem). As well as to be knowledgable in topics pertaining to health care.
2. How the doctor of pharmacy degree relates to your immediate and long term professional goals.
Am currently a college student at Prince George Community College. Graduating with an assoc. in chemistry.
my long term professional goal is to be a pharmacist but one who works in a research departmaent.
My short term goal is to get a Doctor of pharmacy degree first. You could also add up any reasonable stories.
3.Describe how your personal, educational and professional background will help you achieve your goals.
Am currently a home health aide, i consider this my professional background in health care.

The people in white coats have always inspired me as a kid as they seem like a superhero to me because they help people and save their lives. I have studied subjects of arts and science in my early days of the educational period to know about my interests. I have always found myself inclined toward science. My uncle from the maternal side was a pharmacist, and he inspired me a lot, and I started thinking about pursuing a career related to science as I always score very well in science subjects. When it comes to higher education I opted for pre-pharmacy courses, and they seem quite challenging, but still, I find myself loving this branch of science. I have always been a curious kid, and deep down I have a burning desire of research which was fueled more when I developed a skin condition which the doctors were unable to resolve as my skin condition used to worsen in the winter season. I decided to pursue a career which involves research regarding healthcare to help find a solution to problems like mine. I moved to the U.S three years ago and doing graduation degree in chemistry which will eventually lead me to my dream career.
My dream career is to become a pharmacist and work in the research capacity to discover new vaccines and treatments of fatal diseases and generously serve mankind.
