Ethnography is the scientific study of people, culture, customs, habits, and pre-existing differences (Naidoo, 2014). As a cultural enthusiast, I have had numerous interests in ethnography. Often, learning new cultures and new cultural practices has proven interesting to me since it allows me an opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity and the uniqueness of the human race. Secondly, whenever I start learning something about another culture, I become attracted to the culture. I wish to interact with people from that culture as I strive to improve my cultural competencies and become a global citizen.
