Long-term Goals and Objectives
Since 1965, PepsiCo has proved its worth as a remarkable snack food and beverage company, defeating the rest in the business world. Unlike its competitors, PepsiCo has always aligned with its long-term goals and objectives. Even the vision statement of PepsiCo specifies its role in global markets (Crawford & Anthony, 2015).
The company believes in delivering the best, health-friendly products years after years. Some of its long-term goals and objectives are developing a strong, professional relationship with employees and customers, delivering top-tier financial performance for years, leaving a good, positive impression on the environment and societies, and revising its policies and strategies every now and then to compete its rivals in a better way (Lusk & Birks, 2014).

Initially, the company’s actions didn’t boost its performance, but with time, PepsiCo diversified its network and got experts involved, strengthening its corporate strategy. As of now, the company has acquired various local and international brands as part of its corporate strategy. For instance, it collaborated with Lays and brought forward delicious, healthy potato chips. Such measures are taken to engage more and more consumers from across the globe and to be able to penetrate new markets where the existing and new food varieties can be introduced easily (Lusk & Birks, 2014).
With the passage of time, PepsiCo has opted for ways to capture the attention of a significant number of buyers and investors and turn its strategies into competitive advantages. The company got benefited from different technologies, and distribution and marketing channels to establish a brand image globa...
