The resources required in a project ought to arrive on the stipulated time otherwise it will be difficult to reach the projects goal. Supply chain management is concerned with the management of related business which provides the goods or services required by customers. The supply chain involves the transit of the raw materials, storage and delivery of the finished products at the point of consumption (David 2009). The supply chain methodologies come in very handy in ensuring that the resources to a project arrive on time. This ensures the alleviation of obstacles that may delay resource delivery in the correct destination and on time. Project supply chain management can either be linear or non linear. Linear denotes the activities that can be identified, anticipated and altered. On the other hand non linear interactions cannot be easily identified as in the case of the occurrence of identified or unidentified risks.
