Name: Tutor: Course: Date: Tone and Attitude The stories covered in this paper are Sultana's Dream by Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain, A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf, and Declaration by Bei Dao. It compares the tone and attitudes used in the stories. The Sultana’s Dream describes the aspect of female utopia where women rule and men are left out of the process (Hossein, 22). This tries to challenge the traditional rule where men remain in command and gives the benefits of the women ruling such as lack of crime in society. The writer uses a reflective tone trying to visualize a woman’s world.
