Jonny Carson against the Michigan Corporation Name: Institution: In the case of Jonny Carson against the Michigan Corporation, the latter owes the former an apology for using a phrase that is not only abusive but also violates his rights. In the same breath, the corporation should also drop their name and slogan. Mr. Carson has used the name Jonny in all his shows, that is, The Tonight Show, for roughly twenty years. In the twenty years that the show has been on air most of his audiences have come to associate the name Jonny with the show and the media personality that is Mr. Carson. The Michigan Corporation that is in the business of selling some portable toilets used the name wrongfully and this implicates the media personality Carson badly. This could end up violating his ability to do commercial exploits. The corporation went ahead and coupled the name Jonny with the phrase that suggests that he is the world’s best commodian. The word commodian, by definition according to the Urban Dictionary, is used on person that are really bad at telling jokes and even their jokes timing is terrible. Using such a phrase in the name of adverting portable toilets is economically logical, as such it can only be taken to mean that the corporation was using the word Jonny in the sentence with a word the shows that they don’t agree with what he does in an abusive manner. Surely the corporation could have come up with other words to use in the slogan other than Here’s Jonny which is a phrase...
