After viewing “An Education in Equality,” “Learning Begins at Home,” “A Military Education,” and “an Education,” write an organized and well-supported essay in which you make three observations about education and what impacts (and enhances) student learning. Consider impacts and influences such as parenting, home life, society, race, technology, ethnicity, socioeconomics, etc.
A well-organized essay has a beginning, middle, and an end. The beginning, or introduction, should include an opening sentence to grab your reader’s attention. Follow the opening sentence with a brief background on the topic or situation. In this case, it might be the state of education today. The last sentence of the introduction is the thesis statement. The thesis states the main point of the essay, which in this case, would be what impacts/influences student learning.
A well-supported essay includes supporting points, details, and examples. For this essay, you must decide the best way to organize the body of the paper. Will you have a paragraph for each impact or enhancement? Will you divide the body of your paper into three paragraphs, one for each impact? In any case, each body paragraph must support (explain) your reasoning (rationale) using specific details. Each body paragraph must begin with a topic sentence that states the main point of the paragraph.
The conclusion typically summarizes the main points of the essay and/or closes with a lasting impression that connects the reader to their world. You may wish to offer suggestions to reader about what makes for exceptional student learning.
Papers must be double-spaced in Times or Times New Roman font (12 cpi) with standard one-inch margins.
The first person "I" is not used in a formal essay, nor is the passive "you." In place of "you," "one" may be used.
No secondary sources are to be used in the process of writing this first paper; it is to be entirely written based on one's point of view and supported with body points and details. If referring to any of the videos, be sure to provide the source in the first instance.

Educational Equity
Educational equity refers to the provision of equal opportunities to everybody to access education. It basically measures accomplishments, success, opportunity and fairness. Education and equity is connected to excellence and parity. Education is not necessarily the preparation for life, but education is life itself. It has become the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world. Imagine a world with no schools, colleges or universities. Students may not like waking up early in the morning running to school or even staying up late into the night to take exams or tests. But it is very evident that getting an education is paramount. An educated person will always get better chances and opportunities in life. Many of the school going children have come in contact with very many different types of challenges and controversies that have had an impact on their schooling. Some of these impacts include race, ethnicity, parenting, home life, and socioeconomics among others. The budding significance of education is therefore directly connected to the quality and eminence of life.
Racial Fairness in education
The family is the basic unit that molds an individual's personality gradually. The behaviors exhibited as humans' growth are highly dependent on the family life and relationships. The surrounding in which children grow up in greatly affects their intellectual, social, physical and emotional development. The idea of equality in education has brought about incalculable changes in the world within a short period. Everybody regardless of ethnicity, race, social background, gender and religion should have equal opportunities in the process of acquiring education. Everybody has the right to education. Therefore, it is a call for the public to demand it and ensure laws are enacted to cover everybody in the schooling system. Corruption and poverty have hindered many nations in offering quality education equally to everybody. The poor families do not have enough to pay for their child's quality education.
Race and ethnicity have also denied many people the advantage of education. From a scientific viewpoint, humans are a single species meaning they are a single race. Racial inequality in the education system has been practices in many parts of the world. Assigning of students into the public school and within other schools should be done in regardless of their race of ethnicity. It includes equal provision of opportunities to participate in all the educational programs offered. The instances of disproportionate distribution of resources and opportunities in the education sector to favor one race have affected the education system. The lack of resources that has been directly linked to ethnicity and races has affected many children. The mistreatment of children in school by both fellow students and teachers towards the minor race has led to the widening of the rift between different races.
