Politics has for thousands of years. So what happens when anarchy rears itself? That will be discussed in detail in this article. Keywords: Anarchy, Politics IMPACT OF ANARCHY ON THE NATURE OF POLITICS AT A GLOBAL LEVEL Anarchy is the situation whereby the rule of law is completely non-existent and whereby the policies of politics are in shambles, (Merriam-Webster Dictionary, 2012). Hence, there is a group of people who are above the law. Politics on the other hand is the domain in which an individual uses to be able to secure influence in matters concerning policies of a country. This article will examine the impact of anarchical politics at a global level, (Merriam-Webster Dictionary, 2012). In almost every country around the world, politics is freely practiced. The citizens have the constitutional right to install to political office individuals whom they deem fit to represent them, (Perkins, J. (2004). The political office holders are charged with the mandate to strive to uplift the living standards of their electorate. They are to be living examples of excellence, men and women of high moral standing and dignity. Politicians are also meant to be selfless servants of the people. Nevertheless, unfortunately this is not always the case, (Perkins, J. (2007). An example of a state that shows the impact of anarchy on the nature of politics is the horn of Africa state of Somalia. Somalia has become a failed state due to political interference. The country did not have a central government from 1991 until the year 2004, (Winters, J. 2004). The country spent almost 15years without political leadership, which caused the country to fall into a state of ruins.
