Describe Shakespeare’s development as a dramatist
Shakespeare is a renowned poet and dramatist of his time and this has been the legacy that was left by the genius poet and a dramatist. Shakespeare’s development as an actor and a dramatist was enhanced by the fact that he was under the patronage of Earl of Southampton where he learned so much concerning poetry and drama (Baker, 1907). Shakespeare so far dedicated some of his work to Earl such as the Venus. In addition, Shakespeare was a member of a theatre group called The Chamberlain’s Men later called The King’s Men. Shakespeare’s ability of copious industry made him able to gain gifts and talents he originally did not have to ensure that most of his plays focused on the public view and actions (Baker, 1907). This made him one of the best dramatists other than developing him.
