Immigrants typically have lower voting and political participation when compared to the non immigrant communities. Mass voter participation also tends to look into voting behavior at the national, provincial and regional elections. As more immigrants participate in the elections, then there is a high likelihood that they are better integrated into the society as they have confidence in the Canadian electoral system.
