There are many ways of letting the supervisor know how you feel about certain assignments. This can only happen when the supervised person is open and clear when allocated a certain task to handle. Supervisors are there to guide us and direct us on what to do, how to do it and under what conditions. Therefore, when one has difficulties in the area of work, it is advisable for the individual to go and approach the supervisor and explain the problem in an open way. This will allow the supervisor to layout the required procedure in handling the issue.
My supervisor prefers the supportive type of supervision, which I find the most attractive and best. I get ready advice on how to handle tasks that am not well equipped to do alone. The style helps me to deal up with the task when I cannot.

Cultural sensitivity and assertiveness in supervision require consideration, they come in on the intern or worker should relate with the fellow stuff members or internes. Being assertive when communicating to other employees, interns or clients is the most important thing one should hold onto. Avoid being passive as this is a sign of weakness, self-sacrificing and ever complaining individuals. Being aggressive too indicts selfishness in individuals and it is a sign of inconsiderate.

During my interview, my supervisor assessed my capability of handling situations and my relation with other members. The supervisor assessed my skills and by the help of HBSE content such as studying my strengths and ability to handle matters on my own, he was able to come up with a concrete decision about me.
