Essay Instructions:

To receive full credit, you will need to cite scripture to support your position.
This week, I'd like to ask for your reflections on the following passage, from Colossians 1:15-17:
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth,
visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities;
all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things,
and in him all things hold together."
What images come to your mind as you think about this passage? Who is the image of the invisible God? Who is the creator? Who is before all things, in whom all things are held together?
